This National Electronic Product Catalogue Data Dictionary (NEPC) provides the basis for understanding the core and optional data fields required in the NEPC. Prior to sending any product information via the internet, the foremost pre-requisite is for users to have a thorough understanding of what these data fields mean. It is highly recommended that this Data Dictionary be downloaded or printed to be used as an everyday tool for user to fully understand the requirements set for each data field.

Basically, there are 2 parts to this data dictionary. One is pertaining to the individual product and the other is the carton information. Additional explanatory notes such as Understanding EAN Code and a diagram illustration of the carton relationship is also appended for your information only.
